We offer both in-office initial visits and the option of Video Call Initial Visits. You can learn more about it here.
Your initial visit will be approximately one hour long. Dr. Marcantel will cover a thorough health history from you including past medical problems, family health history, any pertinent lab results you have brought in, current medications or supplements you may be taking, and the nature of any current health complaints. The purpose of this visit is to admit you to Dr. Marcantel’s health care program and to determine an appropriate next step toward achieving your health goals.
PLEASE NOTE: Because we do not double-book our appointment times, this 1-hour slot is reserved specifically for you. If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give a minimum of 48 hours notice to our office.
You can download and print your New Patient Registration forms here: Patient Registration Forms.
Established patient visits
The first follow-up appointment after admission to our services is typically a phone consultation. Learn more about Established Patient Phone Consultations here. This allows you to speak with Dr. Marcantel from the comfort of your own home or office without having to make a trip to our clinic. A 45-60 minute appointment is usually recommended for patients who are making their first return appointment after admission. This time is needed for going over any diagnostic lab tests that may have been done and to cover the recommended protocol for care that Dr. Marcantel will discuss with you.
After the first return appointment, a typical follow-up appointment lasts from 15 – 45 minutes, depending on what needs to be addressed. Most follow-up appointments to review lab results, to discuss symptoms and treatment protocols, or make medication changes can be done through phone consultations. Phone consultations are a convenient way of having an appointment with Dr. Marcantel without having to leave your home or work.
Longer visits may also be appropriate for established patients who have extensive lab results to cover or for patients who have not seen Dr. Marcantel for some time or have particularly challenging cases.
Office visits (excluding procedures such as IV therapy) and phone consultations are billed at the same rate, as follows:
50-60 minute appt: $230
35-45-minute appt: $180
20-30-minute appt: $130
10-15-minute appt: $75
The length of time required for follow-up visits is dependent on the time necessary to provide the best possible ongoing treatment for the patient. (If you are unsure of the appropriate length of visit to schedule, please email us.)
PLEASE NOTE: All procedures and testing listed below are offered to established patients of Dr. Marcantel. It is necessary to first have an initial visit in order for Dr. Marcantel to evaluate you for appropriate testing and procedures.
Procedures
IV (intravenous) therapy: Prices vary depending on the treatment. For example, an Adrenal Push for adrenal fatigue is $225. IV treatments generally take 30 minutes to administer. Please consult with our staff to find the exact price of your suggested treatment before scheduling your appointment.
Please inquire about the cost for other procedures offered before scheduling your appointment.
Common laboratory tests
ZRT Saliva Test
Hormone Profile I: $225
The Hormone Profile I tests for estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA-S, and cortisol levels. This is an excellent test to provide information necessary for determining hormonal imbalances that can be the root cause of many health issues. This will help Dr. Marcantel develop a proper treatment protocol. (This is the hormone test most often recommended by Dr. Marcantel.) Click here: In this 3-part video Dr. Marcantel walks you through the results of a salivary hormone test, showing how the test can be used for identifying and treating hormone imbalances.
Food Sensitivity Panel: A basic 100 Food Panel is $350.
Used for testing for food sensitivities that may be causing a variety of troublesome symptoms such as sinus problems, gut problems, aching joints, and skin rashes. This is different from food allergy testing because a sensitivity can be more subtle and insidious than an allergy and can be the underlying cause for a variety of health problems.
Cellular Nutrition Assay: $425 (Includes both the Cellular Micronutrient Assay and the Antioxidant Protection Assay. Each of these tests can also be purchased separately for $325)
The test is used to determine three important things:
* The specific vitamins and minerals your body needs more of to help the cells maintain optimal health.
*A measure of your cells’ ability to protect themselves from free radicals without the addition of antioxidant nutrients.
*Which antioxidants are most effective specifically for you to help remove free radicals from your cells.
For more information about these tests, see Dr. Marcantel’s article, “How Can I Know What Vitamin or Mineral Supplements I Need?”
Blood tests: Blood testing is done through LabCorp and Sonora Quest Laboratories.
Dr. Marcantel offers a wide variety of screening tests. She will discuss with you any tests that she feels may be appropriate for your health care needs. Please feel free to inquire about any testing you may be interested in.
